A prison where only your voice will set you free
Our task—teach the world the full skillset of a completely new phenomenon named "Alexa." So what did we do? We locked people up and gave Alexa the key.
Echo Escape gamified the smart home by creating the world’s first escape experience powered by voice, embedding Alexa’s voice API into a live improvisational escape experience—replayed every 15 minutes for 4 days, then live-streamed to millions.
Full Court Twitch
Online heavyweights CaptainSparklez, Swiftor and OMGitsfirefoxx recieved custom-programmed, clandestine voice-activated packages—fueling a swell in interest that culminated in millions tuning in to what became the most viewed non-gaming content in Twitch history.
On gameday, our Twitch heroes led their own hand-picked teams in a live face-off. Esports superstar host Kelly Link commentated while legions of their fans watched online. Those same fans battled to manipulate the context of the room to assist or sabotage the Twitch streamers inside—live, via Alexa. Through Twitch emotes and Alexa commands, the internet masses did everything from unlocking the door to allow in selfie-seeking superfans, to delivering clues, to activating alarms, to ordering distraction pizzas. The pure mayhem made for prime popcorn drama.
Echo escape was the most popular non-gaming content streamed in Twitch history, with zero dollars of paid media.
